Baharat – Great roof terrace, try the steaks (especially Chateaubriand if there is more than one of you!). Serves lovely cocktails.
Small House – lovely Turkish family restaurant – beware it books up very quickly so you can message them on facebook before you arrive for a table if you are keen
Mussaka – a favourite among Kalkan old hats, great service, and a lovely log fire in the wintertime
The Old Trading House – quaint restaurant with a lovely roof terrace. Traditional Turkish food. Try the fish special!
Salonika – this is a lovely restaurant, very low key but good service – try the meatballs. Also amusing watching the waiters balance many plates as they are coming down the hill from the kitchen to the restaurant.
Kosk – midlevel roof terrace with lovely ambience. Mostly Turkish food, friendly waiters
Hunkar Ocakbasi – This place is always busy! Perfect for a low-key bite – the shish kebabs are great.
Seaport – Go and see Deniz at Seaport he and all the team are very friendly – this restaurant is right on the harbor with a lovely view out to sea.
Gironda – The best a la carte dining in Kalkan – go down and book and you can sit in the beautiful window seat just the two of you – very romantic.
Kalamaki – this restaurant does a bit of everything, Asian, Turkish. Also great chocolate desserts if you can fit anything else in.
La Terazza – lovely little Italian with a really nice fire in the cooler parts of the season. Great for dinner or a light pasta lunch in the daytime.
Isos Kitchen – very warm friendly atmosphere – this is a great little restaurant – be careful in the cooler parts of the season – the owner puts on a roaring fire, very toasty but don’t sit too close you may boil!
Marina – If you are in Kalkan, having a salad or seafood at Marina is a must. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is really excellent especially the seafood salad!
Lime – closer to the apartment if you want a light bite try lime – they do lovely little mezzes and hot plates.
Akin Restaurant – does great burgers and sandwiches as well as the standard Turkish fare and you can look over the harbour
Ada café – on the road just next to Chillis is a little café – they serve lovely breakfast plates – freshly made bagels and pastries.
Trio – if you fancy being a bit healthier, go down to Trio for a smoothie for breakfast – they also do less healthy options eg eggs, beans, sausages!
Shade Lounge – absolute favourite run by Hasim and Charlotte – great cocktails and a lovely bar down a really buzzing street – always a good way to start or end your night
Mini Bar – this one is on your walk to town and they serve lovely cocktails and a cold beer
Botanik – lovely bar in a beautiful garden – even has two treehouses if you want to have a cocktail up in a private spot. Always buzzing.
Fountain – lovely terrace bar – super friendly staff and there’s a little clubhouse to go to if it starts to drizzle!
Moonlight – if you want to watch the sport, head down to visit the chaps at Moonlight – always friendly, if there’s a big match on this bar takes over the whole street
Yali – another bar where you can sit and watch sport, always serve lots of bowls of popcorn so try not to eat too much if you go down before dinner
Black and Gold – cocktail bar in the old town with a lovely terrace – enjoy a nice view and a strawberry daiquiri.
